6.1.2.3. Calibration

Calibration of fuel cell and paramagnetic devices is simple, usually just an end point calibration against outside air (20.95 % O2 content). Zero point calibration is usually not necessary. A certain drift, however, is inherent to the nature of fuel cells. Frequent recalibration and baselining during evaluation for drift compensation is, therefore, indispensable (Lighton, 2008).
