European Week of Bees and Pollination 2018 * June 26-28 * Belgium

Dear bee scientific community,

We would like to invite you to join us at the Scientific Symposium, organised as a part of the European Week of Bees and Pollinators 2018.

The symposium takes place in Brussels, in the European Parliament meeting room Paul-Henri Spaak (PHS) 6B001, on 26 June 2018.

On this occasion, we will also present the Terms of Reference for the EU Bee Partnership, the outcome of the several months of work of EFSA’s stakeholder Bee Discussion Group.

Please find enclosed the draft agenda.

This symposium is one more activity within the Bee Week. Other activities in the programme include:

26 June – Scientific Symposium (registration below)

27 June – 2 Workshops dealing with the interface between agriculture and pollinators and the Discovery Night (social event) (registration via the Bee Week site)

28 June – High-Level Conference (registration via de Bee Week site)

Note that there are only a limited number of seats available. Therefore, your attendance will only be confirmed after the closing date for registration. EFSA reserves the right to screen applications and prioritise requests to ensure balance representation of different interest groups. You will receive a written feedback about your application by email, few days after the closing of registrations.
