Velutina taskforce kickoff meeting - Registration & Abstract Call


  • Kick-off meeting of the Velutina Task Force to provide an update on Vespa velutina bionomy, ethology and ecology in its native range and its
    status of invasive alien species and to plan organization and future action of the Task Force.

    The main Turin railway station is Porta Nuova Station but hight speed trains stop at Porta Susa Station; both stations are in the city center and
    are connected by the Metro

    By car:

    Turin is connected to main principal Italian city by motorways A4, A21, and A6 and to France by motorways A5 and A32
    The Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Science is located in Grugliasco, a nearby town belonging to Turin Metropolis, some 10 km
    from city center. It can be reached from city center by car or by Metro to the Fermi Station plus bus 76 (A suburban ticket must be purchased in

A registration fee is not required and coffee breaks, the lunch of the 19th February, and social dinner will be covered. At the moment no
travel/accommodation reimbursement is likely.
