COLOSS Bee Nutrition TF Workshop 2020, France
Registration fee: 40€ per participant (includes coffee breaks and two lunches).
Accommodation costs and social dinner are not included.
Registration deadline: Monday, March 16th
The Bee Nutrition Task Force (NUTRI TF) gathers independent experts in bee nutrition. We aim at developing a multinational network that will engage in discussions and research. The NUTRI TF wants to facilitate and develop collaborations to produce synergistic scientifically-sound outputs, and aims at harmonizing and standardizing research on bee nutrition.
We address nutrition as a major driver of bee health, as well as a common Beekeeping Management Practice, involving multiple stakeholders (e.g. beekeepers and beekeeping associations, researchers).
The TF aims at investigating nutrition from different perspectives and approaches: please see here.
In this first annual workshop the old and new members of the COLOSS NUTRITION Task Force meet to organize the activities, and discuss our strategy. Abstracts may be submitted and selected for short talks. Posters are welcome.
Multiple topics will be addressed in more focused activities via parallel sessions.
Please contact the local organizer, or the NUTRI TF coordinators, for more information.
Centre de Convention Archamps
112 Rue Richard Gurley Drew
Archamps is a small village situated in France, at the border with Switzerland. It hosts a technopole, recently renamed ArchParc, that gathers hundreds of companies and a big Imax cinema, with all facilities to eat and stay.
ArchParc is hosting the BioPark, a laboratory and a technological platform for life sciences. The BioPark is working on different honey bee programs, especially focusing on the use of proteomics for bee health diagnosis and prognosis (BeeTyping methodology).
Within a few kilometres you can reach the international city of Geneva, a nice mountain named the Salève, the famous Leman lake, and a leisure and well-being park (Vitam’Park).
Within about 30 km, you are in Annecy and his lake, or in big famous ski stations of Haute-Savoie.

- By road: direct exit from the Annecy-Geneva Highway

Oral presentations and posters (suggested topics: bee nutrition, NUTRI TF), are welcome.
