I got my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Milan in September 2017. I moved then to Ireland to start working as Research Assistant in Prof. McCormack's lab at the NUIG in Galway, working on the conservation of the Irish black honeybees Apis mellifera mellifera.I am a passionate beekeeper, who has started working with honeybees 6 years ago in Italy. In 2017 I worked as a professional beekeeper in a local honeybee farm in Northern Italy.I would love to be able to combine my scientific background in molecular biology and my honeybee passion towards the honeybee conservation and wellbeing.
