The Survivors Task Force of COLOSS aims to identify and investigate untreated and/or unmanaged Western honey bee populations that are surviving infestations with Varroa destructor. Therefore, we herewith ask for your help.
Please, answer the survey if you know of any case of potential V. destructor survivors.
The survey is completely anonymous and the answers will only be managed by COLOSS. Additionally, if you are interested to further collaborate on the topic please feel free to add your email address at the end of the form. Any information will of course still be treated confidentially.
The survey is available in Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Norwegian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian. Please contact the coordinators (see end of the page) in case you would like to get a version of the survey in one of these languages, or if you wish to contribute by writing a version of the form in your native language.
As of October 2019, a total of 72 feedbacks have been collected, and among those, 15 populations have been considered for further actions as potential cases of natural V. destructor survivors.
