Prague Václav Havel airport
From airport to the railway station
After landing in Václav Havel airport in Prague take an airport shuttle to reach the main railway station (Praha Hlavní nádraží, Praha hl.n.), see the travel information here. https://www.prg.aero/en/airport-express The airport shuttle costs 100 CZK, i.e. 4 EUR. Alternatively you can also take a taxi but the price is higher than the public transportation.
From Prague to Olomouc by direct train
From Prague railway station (Praha hl.n.) use a train to the station Olomouc hl.n. There are direct trains, the travel takes approx. 2.5 – 3 hours. You can buy tickets in advance directly from the companies:

Vienna airport
From Vienna airport by direct bus to Olomouc
You can easily reach Olomouc (Czechia) by direct bus from Vienna (Austria). There are operating two companies, you can buy the tickets from their webpages:

Accommodation in Olomouc
You can choose a hotel as you wish from www.booking.com or from other platforms. The faculty where the workshop takes place is near the center. The close and convenient hotels (on the walking distance) are these:

Transportation in Olomouc
- Public transportation (trams, busses) – the easiest option is to download an app for travel tickets: https://www.dpmo.cz/en/mobile-app/, the ticket price is 20 CZK, i.e. approx. 0,8 EUR and is valid for 50 minutes.
- Taxi – there are several taxi companies operating in Olomouc, you can choose any of them, like Atlant Taxi, Bolt etc. For Bolt you need to download an app, here: https://bolt.eu/en-cz/cities/olomouc/. The taxi costs approx. 5 EUR for traveling around the city center.
- Walk – Olomouc center is reachable by walk from the railway station, it takes approx. 20 – 30 mins to the centre.
