The registration fee is € 50.00 for the physical meeting (entry, snacks, drinks, coffee breaks, lunches) and € 10.00 for online participation.

The fee for the optional Social Dinner is € 45.00 per person. Vegan, vegetarian and meat options will be provided, incl. 3 drinks.

Please make all payments using PayPal, credit card or bank transfer.

Due to limited financial support, participants will NOT be reimbursed for travel and accommodation.

Each participant can indicate a topic for discussions during registration, which should be related to honey bee health and wellbeing.

Everyone who contributes a poster should indicate their student status in the registration process.

PRESENTATIONS:

The presenting author can submit a poster abstract on any COLOSS relevant topic. The posters will be presented in person at the poster session. Poster dimensions: portrait format A0 (84.1 cm (width) x 118.9 cm (length)).

The best student poster will receive the “COLOSS Best Student Poster Prize” if the student is the corresponding author and willing to participate in the competition, as indicated in the registration.

The winner of the prize will be announced at the conference, at the COLOSS website and on social media.

Oral presentations can be given by the awardees, the invited speaker, the sponsors and the chairs of the CPs/TFs, the rest are posters only!

WHO CAN REGISTER:

Only COLOSS members can register and participate in the 2024 COLOSS Conference.

COLOSS is open to any scientific professional (e.g. researcher, veterinarian, extension agent) interested in the well-being of bees.

COLOSS membership is free. To request membership, please click HERE; please note that the approval process may take several days, so request membership well in advanced of the conference registration deadline.

How does this block code works:

  • Go to this website using this link www.wicc.nl/online-boeken. Then you have to enter your details and the given block code for the following:
  • The above block codes are then activated on named room types with corresponding number of persons for room reservations on 11 and 12 November 2024.
  • The block codes are active until 6 September 2024, after which the block will be released and it is only possible to book a room by mail based on availability. To book a room for a different period or room type, you can email info@wicc.nl with reference 2 Day Course WUR.
  • If you prefer to book cheaper rooms, we suggest using Booking.com. Some cheaper options in Wageningen are Fletcher Hotel De Wageningsche Berg or Nol in ‘t Bosch.
  • The organizer has made a block booking reservation for the participants of COLOSS 2024 with an option until 6th September 2024. After this date, reservations will only be possible upon availability.

SOCIAL DINNER:

The Social Dinner will be held in restaurant H41 (Herenstraat 41, 6701 DH Wageningen).

There will be a buffet including desert. Every person gets 3 coins for drinks.

This is for a total of € 45.00 per person.

If you wish to participate in the social dinner, please tick the social dinner box and give your preferences (meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) in the registration form.
