My name is Stephen Todd and I recently graduated from Xavier University with a B.S. in Environmental Science, where I worked for 3 years as a lab technician in the Biology Department. While my specific project goal was to determine the year Asian longhorned beetle was introduced into Bethel, Ohio using dendrochronology and geospatial programs, I also worked in conjunction with other students, faculty from Cornell and Purdue University, and members of the USDA, on a multitude of projects aimed at monitoring and controlling populations of emerald ash borer and the Asian longhorned beetle.

I am now a master's student in the Geoidea lab at Auburn University where I am looking to explore varroa mite population and treatment efficacy across the United States.  I am currently collaborating with the Bee Informed Partnership to narrow down a project that will improve the management of honey bees.
