Vesna Karapetkovska-Hristova, PhD was born on August 30, 1979 in Bitola. In 2007, she graduated from the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” - Bitola obtaining a professional title Engineer in the processing of animal products. In 2011, she defended the master thesis at the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” - Bitola, gaining an academic title of Master of Biotechnical Sciences from the field of Food Quality and Safety. In 2015, at the Faculty of Agronomy, Trakia University, Stara Zagora, R. Bulgaria she defended her doctoral thesis, thus gaining a scientific degree of Doctor of Biotechnical Sciences, Genetic and Selection of Domestic Animals. Since 09.11.2007, gaıns a full tıme employee status at the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences – Bitola. At the moment she is appointed as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences - Bitola, where she is involved in the realization of the teaching of all three cycles of studies at this Faculty.
For the past several years she is working in the field of Biotechnology, Livestock production, Food Quality and Environmental Pollution. She has published to date over 70 refereed journal and conference papers Also she took participation in many workshops in the area of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Rural Development as well as Climatic changes and Environment. From 2010 is a member of the presidency of NGO Movement for Environment “Molika” and from 2019 is a president of the NGO for the Education of youth and women in the field of agriculture and rural development, “Simbioza Linkesti” Bitola.
