Dr. Bihter Avşar is a researcher who has focused on honey bee health studies and plant biology areas. The results of her studies have been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals as articles and book chapters, and they have also been presented at national/international conferences. Dr. Avşar also serves as a reviewer for well-known journals and is a member of professional research organizations. Moreover, she has received numerous scholarships and awards from national and international funders.
