Slobodan Dolašević was born on October 30, 1989, in Peć. He completed his elementary and high school education (natural sciences-mathematics program) in Zemun, and then enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun, majoring in Animal Science, in the academic year 2008/2009. On July 13, 2012, he successfully defended his final thesis titled "The Influence of Feedbee Supplementation on the Spring Development of Bee Colonies."
After graduating, he worked at Professor Kulinčević's farm, "Api Center," from 2012 to 2013. On October 16, 2013, he defended his Master's thesis (Animal Science) on the topic "The Influence of Worker Bee Age (Apis mellifera carnica) in the Pre-Winter Period on Raw Protein and Total Mineral Content."
In October 2013, he enrolled in doctoral studies, specializing in Agricultural Sciences, with a focus on Animal Science. During his doctoral studies, he traveled to New Zealand for training in artificial insemination of queen bees under the mentorship of Frans Lassa. In September 2016, he further improved his knowledge in this field by attending training on artificial insemination of queen bees at an institute in Slovenia.
Upon his return, he co-founded the beekeeping company "Golden Bee D.O.O." and joined as a professional collaborator specializing in bee breeding. In June 2020, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "The Impact of Nutrition on the Quality of Naturally and Artificially Produced Queen Bees with Monitoring of Vitellogenin Gene Expression Levels during Developmental Stages."
He is the project leader of the Beeamond system and holds a patent application at the Intellectual Property Office (ZIS). Slobodan Dolašević is married and a father of two daughters.
