Carol Fassbinder Orth

I research markers of honeybee health and disease, with particular interest in honey bee viral disease. I utilize various physiological and behavioral tools, including RFID chips and age-specific markers to investigate colony aging and health in response to infection.  I am based in Omaha, NE, USA as a faculty member at Creighton University. I also own my own beekeeping operation in Glenwood, IA, called Bountiful Blossoms Bee Company.
