Allyson Shabel is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BS in Ornamental Horticulture and is now working on her MS in Plant and Soil Sciences at AAMU.  She worked at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens for 10 years as a horticulture specialist and has been with Alabama Cooperative Extension System as a Regional Agent for Home Grounds and Natural Resource Management since 2014 in Morgan and Lawrence Counties.
