| About | I graduated as a veterinarian from Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany, in 2005 and obtained my Ph.D.s from the same university in 2009 and 2011. I then moved to the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria, in 2012 as a trained virologist, where I worked as a researcher and virological diagnostician until I took up a professorship in clinical virology in Giessen in 2019. My research focuses on virus-related diseases of livestock and insects. I am a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Microbiology. |
