About	In 2011 Kaira Wagoner began a doctorate in Environmental Health Science focused on honey bee health. Wagoner graduated with her doctorate in December of 2015 and is continuing her honeybee research as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Wagoner’s primary research interests are Varroa control hygienic behavior and honey bee chemical communication.
