| About | I am Mani Kannan currently as a post doc fellow at ARO- volcani Research center, Israel, doing research work on revealing the molecular mechanism of chemosensing in Varroa destructor. I have completed my master and doctorate from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. My research area of interest is on insect pest management. I am experienced in molecular biology and handled the instruments such as 2D-PAGE, q-PCR, FISH, GC-MS. I have worked on culturing various insects like silkworm, spodoptera litura, aquatic insects (Simulium sp), banana skipper and banana weevils. |
