Medhat Nasr

Dr. Medhat Nasr is a highly regarded apiculturist, educator and regulator with over 45 years of experience in both the public and private sector.  In Alberta, he served as Alberta Provincial Apiculturist for 19 years. He extended the inspection program to include applied bee research and extension activities. Currently two research laboratories already established and equipped with state of the art technology to study bee pest management and canola pollination in Alberta. In Ontario he was the first to introduce the concept of “Tech-Transfer program. Currently He is the Research Lead for Saskatchewan Beekeepers Development Commission – Tech Adaption Program.
