| About | I have researched the behaviours of bumblebees and honeybees for several years at Newcastle University, UK. During my Master’s degree and as a research technician, I explored the neural activity and feeding behaviours bumblebees and honey bees towards toxic, bitter nectars of flowers Currently, I am working as a scientist/data analyst at a contract research laboratory conducting eco-toxicology studies i.e. analysing the toxicity of novel biopesticide products on non-target arthropods, including adult bees and bee larvae. I practice beekeeping on site monitoring the colony health. Also as a side hobby, I harvest honey from our hives and collect wax for candles/bee wax wraps. |
