Dalila Di Criscio

I am a second year PhD student in Agriculture, Technologies and Biotechnologies, at the University of Molise (curriculum: Sustainable Plant Production and Protection). I am working on the ectoparasitic mite Varroa destructor, whose direct effects (removal of hemolymph) and indirect (virus transmission) on bee populations can lead, as well known, to the collapse of the colony. one aim of my PhD project is the identification of new and ecofriendly strategies to contain the population of V. destructor.
