| About | Main fields of my interesting are investigation of flower biology, nectar production, pollen morphology and flower histology on plant species which are useful for apiculture. I have been studying nectar production in bee pasture plant species for about 20 years. My previous research fields were the microscopic histological examination on flowers of cultivated fruit trees and the vegetative organs of drought-tolerant plant species. I am currently involved in determining the botanical origin of honeys and pollen loads based on pollen composition, as well as the sensory analysis of honeys. |
