About

I am a PhD from Wageningen University and qualified as full professor of entomology. I’m an insect ecologist and I have been working for about 20 years on the biosafety of genetically modified organisms and environmental risk assessment using insect predators and pollinators as biological indicators. My current research interests are environmental risk assessment of RNA interference applications and of phytoremediation activities in contaminated areas.
