Tracey Smith

I started beekeeping in Alaska mid-way through my MA degree at University of Alaska Fairbanks. When I graduated, I moved back home to Alberta and started my beekeeping company. Twelve years later, frustrated by the state of the beekeeping industry and the numerous health issues plaguing honey bees, I started a PhD to help address some of these issues. I’m interested in how environmental stressors impact honey bees health.
