| About | Zdenka Babić is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is the President of the Board of the Innovative Technologies for Nature, Society, and Smart Environment Association. Her research focuses on digital signal processing and data analysis, with applications in the natural sciences. She has published more than 100 scientific papers, ten books, and has served as coordinator or principal investigator in over 60 projects. She has contributed to the development and implementation of new courses at all levels of study in the fields of signals and systems, signal processing, image processing, and multimedia. She has held positions as Vice Dean for Teaching, Vice Dean for Scientific Research, Head of the Department of General Electrical Engineering, and Head of the Doctoral Study Program in Information and Communication Technologies. She was a member of the Senate of the University of Banja Luka, the Republic Council for Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska, and served as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s representative in the FP7 and H2020 ICT committees. She has received multiple awards for her achievements in research and teaching. |
