ETAIN Project – Exploring the impact of RF-EMF exposure on planetary health

Addressing the effects of RF-EMF exposure on biodiversity, development & fitness of insects, Honey Bees, solitary bees and blue bottle flies will also be studied to test if RF-EMF exposure impacts the immature development and fitness of insect pollinators.

ETAIN is an EU funded project that aims to develop and validate approaches to assess the impact of emerging technology from a human and planetary perspective, while exploring options for exposure reduction. The full process promotes interactions with citizens and stakeholders about exposure levels and possible associated risks. Following a citizen science paradigm, ETAIN develops an app & portal able to quantify one’s personal exposure to RF-EMF (Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields) and to map exposure levels across European cities.
