Amara Orth

I work in Dr. Carol Fassbinder-Orth’s lab at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, USA. Her lab studies honey bee viruses and disease. I am specifically interested in land use effects on honey bee health and bee monitoring. I am currently working on a project that uses machine learning to detect the vibroacoustics of colony decline.  I also run a nonprofit called Bee Analyzed that analyzes the pollen identities of honey for small beekeepers in the state of Iowa, USA. I also participate in my family-run bee business called Bountiful Blossoms Bee Company, LLC
