Carolin Rein

I did both my bachelor and master degree in Biology at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart. During my master thesis I worked in the Varroa-Group of Dr. Rosenkranz where I investigated the newly discovered Lithium-Chloride, as a new varroa treatment. More precise, I investigated different LiCl applications on its effects on the brood and the efficacy on the mites.

Currently I am working as a researcher at the Apicultural State Institute in Hohenheim, still in the Varroa-Group to investigate LiCl even more.
