| About | I hold a Bachelor’s and a PhD in Biological Sciences from UNMDP (Argentina). I currently work independently at the Laboratory of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Pollution (ECoA) of IIMyC (CONICET-UNMDP), providing technical advice in knowledge transfer services, processing biological samples and determining bioaccumulated POPs. I have experience in ecotoxicology, environmental chemistry, and population genetics, with eight years of continuous work in university laboratories. I was a research fellow at UNMDP, CONICET, and CAPES (Brazil), and an undergraduate research intern at UNMDP. During my PhD I worked at the ECoA Laboratory (IIMyC) and the Social Bee Research Center (IIPROSAM, CONICET-UNMDP) on the biomonitoring of current-use and banned pesticides in bumblebees under different land uses and the evaluation of sublethal effects of certain insecticides on Bombus pauloensis. Previously, during my undergraduate thesis I worked on the population genetics of a widespread burrowing crab from southwest atlantic using microsatellite markers (STR). I am the author of seven articles in high-impact international journals and twelve presentations at national and international scientific meetings. I received travel, congress attendance, and equipment grants. I attended twenty-two training courses at institutions including UNMDP (disciplinary courses), the Argentine Naval Prefecture (STCW 78), FAPESP, the Argentine Red Cross, Jenck SA (liquid and gas chromatography), and UNIDO Good laboratory practices. I participated in eleven research projects at UNMDP and national programs (AGENCIA I+D+I, MINCyT, CONICET). I have been involved in university teaching at UNMDP since 2016 and have experience in management, outreach, and knowledge transfer. Languages: English (B2+), Italian (A1), and Portuguese (elementary). Software: Office, Inkscape, QGIS, and R Studio. |
