Dula Lugano

Dula is an apiculture expert. He hold a Bachelor degree in Beekeeping Science and Technology. He began beekeeping career in 2015 after he joined University of Dar es Salaam for  undergraduate studies. Dula worked with various organisation in Tanzania such as Tanzania Forest Services Agency and The Hive Limited for undergraduate  beekeeping field practicals and beekeeping internship. Where he gained appreciable experience in managing honey bees. He is so far harvesting  the following bee products; honey, beeswax, bee venom and pollen.

He is interesting in becoming  a potential beekeeping researcher and extension specialist in Africa.  Bring contributions to the development of apiculture science. He done a research during his undergraduate studies entitled “Effect of Adulteration Using Jaggery Unrefined Sugars on the selected Parameters of Tanzanian honey” addressing the issue of decreasing of external market demand on Tanzanian honey.
