| About | I am an employee of the University of Agriculture in Krakow and the Bohdan Dobrzański Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Lublin. At the university, I am the deputy director of the Center for Innovation and Research on Healthy and Safe Food at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. I hold a master’s degree in physics with a specialization in biophysics, obtained my doctorate in 2011, and my habilitation with distinction in 2021. I collaborate with numerous scientific institutions in Poland and internationally. I have completed several-month research internships in Poland and abroad (France, Spain, Ukraine, Slovakia), as evidenced by numerous publications. I am the author of publications indexed in the Scopus database, most of which are co-authored with scientists from Poland and abroad (USA, Australia, Canada, UK, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, etc.). I hold several patents and am a member of prestigious organizations, including the World Academy of Science, Engineering, and Technology based in the USA, the Association of European Biophysical Societies, and the Committee on Agronomic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. I have co-organized numerous international scientific conferences in Poland and around the world (Canada, Malaysia, France, Japan, Spain). As a scientist in the field of agricultural sciences and food and nutrition technology, I have been invited as a keynote speaker to numerous international conferences worldwide. My scientific interests includes: Chemical composition of raw materials and plant products; Food quality; The study of physical processes essential in the storage; Research of volatile organic and aromatic compounds; Electronic noses; Application of spectroscopic and spectrometric methods in food quality determination; Microstructure of fruit and vegetables tissue; Mechanical properties of structure and plant tissue; Acoustic emission phenomena during cracking of plant tissue; Microscopy, macroscopy; Image analysis; Accustoming of knowledge for agricultural practice, Statistical analysis, Chemometric and AI. |
