Professor at Université Clermont Auvergne (France), I am a key member of the Host-Parasite Interaction team which has acquired a strong expertise on Microsporidia, originating from 35 years of research. I am working on the parasite N. ceranae, focusing on its virulence and impact on the honeybee physiology, alone or in combination with other factors (pesticides, Varroa, nutrition). I am also working on new strategies to improve honeybee health (development of new anti-infectious molecules and probiotics).
