Mary

I am a researcher working in honey bee health with interests in molecular biology, microbiome research, and pollinator health. My work focuses on honey bee pathogens, viruses, and host–microbiome interactions, as well as the use of molecular and bioinformatics approaches to understand factors influencing colony health and resilience. I also work on floral resource characterization using pollen metabarcoding and have experience in bioinformatics and data analysis using R. My research interests center on understanding the interactions between environmental factors, microbial communities, and disease dynamics in honey bees.
