| About | I have been working in the field of honey pollen analysis (melissopalynology) for several years. My primary focus is on determining the botanical origin and assessing the varietal purity of Austrian honeys. In addition, I am part of my institute’s apiculture research group, which is dedicated to the study of honey bee health. Alongside my professional work as a melissopalynologist, I am currently pursuing my Master’s thesis, in which I investigate changes in pollen foraging behavior of Austrian wild bees. Apart from palynology and honey bee health, I am particularly interestest in wild bees, the impacts of climate change on both plant and animal systems, and pollination biology. |
